Imre Bukta – Works 2010-2012

14. Jun. 2013 - 11. Aug. 2013

Imre Bukta’s works are full of stories about the society he lives in. His works are well known in his home country, but still not in Norway. During the summer months we will show a selection of his works from 2008 to 2012 at Hordaland Art Centre.

Self-Organised

30. Apr. 2013 - 31. Dec. 2014
Open Editions (London) and Hordaland Art Centre (Bergen) publish the third book in the Occasional Table series: Self-organised, edited by Stine Hebert and Anne Szefer Karlsen.

Seminar: Investigating systems of persuasion

1. Jun. 2013
In the one day-seminar Investigating systems of persuasion we will be looking at four distinct approaches to art education pedagogy, approaches which, like most other methods, have grown out of particular educational and social contexts. With lectures by artists Ana Laura López de la Torre, Åsa Sonjasdotter, Samuel Sztern and the pedagogical project FLG (Katrine Hjelde, Michaela Ross, Hannah Clayden, Mario D'Agostino and Kiki Claxton).
