FORUM SITE SPECIFIC LECTURE
RANDI GROV BERGER AND EVA REM HANSEN
As part of the exhibition You only tell me you love me when you´re drunk, the two artists Lutz-Rainer Müller and Stian Ådlandsvik have moved in to a quiet neighbourhood on the island of Askøy and transformed a residential house to a large scale sculpture. This project is in the tradition of similar site specific works, as well as is in dialogue with the particular site it is situated.
Randi Grov Berger and Eva Rem Hansen will in this lecture in the garage next to the house sculpture present their research on the project's artistic problematics and its relation to society at large. On the one hand they will talk about the artists, their collaboration and their helpers, and about similar projects. On the other hand they will allude to the general and political discussions the house sculpture indirectly, yet loudly, place itself in.
Please see links for directions on how to get there. Please remember to dress according to weather and temperature.
